Snow day! !

We got about 2 inches of snow today! Everyone got to goo out and enjoy it too!  Even Mommy! !

A blossoming mind

Here are a couple of pics of our princess and the block creation she made. She had done this in just a few minutes and Mommy was very impressed with her creativity! She is really making leaps and bounds lately in her conversational skills and creative play. It's wonderful to see her blossom!  Love you sweet lil'princess!

A night on the town

Brian and I were given the chance to eat dinner out at EDO Japan, and then to go hear my voice student at her first concert at the local coffee shop! ! Thank you Grandma & Grandpa!  :-) It was soo much fun to see her enjoy that experience! !

Set with the poultry!

As Chandler so aptly put it to Joey on Friends, "you know Joe, I think you're set with the poultry". We have gotten ourselves into the fun of owning chickens as of today!  Thanks Corey! !   :-)
The kids were thrilled today to go out when they woke up and see the chickens! ! We got two laying hens from our friend Corey, and Daddy built a coupe out of a large shipping crate! Here are some pics of the kiddos meeting the new source of their hot breakfasts!  B-bug said, "Mommy, we're going to have a garden soon, and we have a shed and chickens, I guess we're becoming farmers! " LOL, I guess so B!

Our Snow Day

On Tuesday the first of February, Brian stayed home from work because of the snow!! We had a perfect day together as a family, Daddy got to do school with us, and play all day!! We watched a movie snuggled on the sofa and had a memorable time together playing in the snow. I love unexpected special treats like this was! Here's a few pics of our day together.

My Little Trenton

Trenton my love, You are my sweet monkey man. I love to start my day with your precious "Hi Mommy" when I get you out of bed.  You love to snuggle and I hold on so tight every time, as I thank the Lord for each day He gives me with you.  Thank you for the countless joys you bring with your contagious giggle, your determined and mission-focused exploring play, and your tender hearted touch that gently places a kiss on my nose as you hold my cheeks in your tiny hands.  I pray the Lord soon enraptures your soul and makes you a mighty servant for His kingdom. You are such an amazing gift Trenton I will always love you my baby.

Brayden my sweet love. I wanted to capture some of the many faces of you, the faces that make me laugh as I see your happy spirit shine forth. You have brought us more joy than I ever could have imagined was possible. I love your happy, easy-going personality, your way of making your brother giggle like no one else can. Mommy's Photo Shoot

Ok, so it's true, planning and putting together outfits for my precious children is one of my favorite hobbies. My Dad says, you always loved dressing your baby dolls, I guess now you're getting to dress live baby dolls"! Well, you're exactly right Dad, and this is WAY more fun! ;) So, this particular day my sweet boys looked very photo worthy to me, so here they are. I love these happy children with my life!! Thank you awesome God for each of them!

A couple of Saturdays ag0 our dear and lifelong friend Megan came to visit for the day! We hadn't seen her in years, so she got to meet Trenton, and Ethan and Mason for the first time and we got to meet precious, nearly 1 year old Riley!! What a great day we had together! Brian and I are SOO grateful for precious freinds who are also brothers and sisters in Christ, like Megan!

Pumpkin carving party

We had a great time at church for a pumpkin carving party complete with a gospel analogy as the pumpkins were cleaned out, made beautiful, and had a light put inside them!! :)

The Title

Well, the title for this blog was inspired by Brayden who currently, is continually being a "hero" and fondly dubbing every family member with their own hero title;...except Mommy. I am always "the princess" and waiting to be saved!!! Well, I decided I like that title, and besides, thanks to Daddy I'm treated as one too! So there you have it, our family. 5 Heroes and a Princess! And a few pics of my two most active super heroes at work! Enjoy!

Big Smiles!

Speaking of making you smile, I know these smiles sure get a BIG one out of me! These little BIG brothers, get along SO well, about 90% of the time, I'm so thankful for the way they interact. It's so fun! In the bottom pic they have just gotten their new super hero capes from Aunt D and they're flying all around the house, stopping just long enough to say CHEESE to the camera!

Hello family and friends!! I am starting a blog! I'm not entirely familiar with this process, so as I get familiar I will post some random things for your enjoyment, but soon I hope to be able to use this as a quick, regular, method of keeping our loved ones, (you) up to date with our lives!
